Details
The projects consisted of raising and extending a toe of the Vedder dyke using fills from other excavation sites, as part of the Owner's overall flood prevention program. Given the low strength of the existing soils along the creek, fills had to be placed in small lifts to prevent slope failures. Enhancement of fishery habitats also formed a significant part of the projects.
